Every day, people have observations, half-formed ideas, frustrations, and questions they can't shake. Most of them disappear — not because they're worthless, but because there's nowhere for them to go.
People don't need more answers. They need space to think out loud with something that takes them seriously.
Thought Drifter is simple infrastructure for those thoughts. (Website:

How it works
You describe an observation in plain language. The system talks with you — not to give answers, but to help the thought develop. When it feels ready, you save it.
The system then quietly looks for clusters of people thinking about similar things — or approaching the same underlying question from completely different angles. When it notices something worth surfacing, it lets you know:
"There's some interesting activity in this area. Might be worth a look."
Think of it as the opposite of Google Maps. Google Maps sees traffic and routes you around it for a smoother trip. Thought Drifter does the reverse — when it notices a cluster of thinking in one area, it quietly makes that visible so separate explorations have a chance to collide. Sometimes with people thinking almost exactly like you. Sometimes with people coming at the same problem from a radically different direction.
There's no required destination. No prescribed route. Just awareness. The goal isn't to keep everything flowing smoothly in isolation — it's to help valuable collisions happen on purpose.
What this is not
· Not a search engine
· Not a social network
· Not an AI that tells you what to think
There are no likes, no followers, no trending topics, and no algorithm fighting for your attention. It is a librarian at civilization scale — it doesn't write the books, it simply helps the right ones find each other.
Privacy & How Your Thoughts Are Used
Your conversation stays fully private until you choose to save an observation. Once saved, it becomes part of the shared network — anonymized, but not private. The purpose of this system is connection.
You have 24 hours to withdraw any saved observation before it fully enters the network.
The Heartbeat
The small red heart in the corner pulses when the system is working. Occasionally you'll see a quiet flash — two explorations just connected somewhere in the world. It disappears in seconds. That's intentional.
Not an oracle. Not an answer machine. Just a place for explorations to collide.
Treat this like a private journal for your everyday observations. Nobody is watching you, nobody is rating you, and there is no audience to perform for. Just put your thoughts down, end your turn, and occasionally, the machine will quietly show you where your journal rhymes with a stranger's mind in the dark.
